Ayer, Mrs. Cullen (1846? - 9 Feb 1919)
Mrs. Cullen Ayer, on of the pioneers of the town of Unity, Clark County, Wis., died Feb. 9, 1919, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. J. Cammers, in Unity Village, aged 72 years. She was born in Cronwall, Eng., came with her parents to Mineral Point, Wis., married Cullen Ayer in 1864 and in 1870 they came to Clark County, settling in the wilderness. Mr. Ayer for years was prominent in business and political affairs of this county, and his wife was an able helper in their home. Mr. Ayer died in 1912. To them were born twelve children, eleven of who are still living.
