Melvin Nye, one of the leading lumbermen of Clark County, Wis. died at his home in Thorp, Clark County Feb. 3, 1920. He was born at Waterville, Maine and by a life of industry and foresight he accumulated a large fortune. He was associated with Messrs. Lusk and Hudson for nearly forty years in lumbering and mercantile business. He leaves a wife and two sons.
