Vansleet, Henry (? - 9 Sep 1890)
Henry Vansleet, for some time a resident of this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.), and whose mother and oldest brother Peter, still reside here, was drowned by either falling or jumping off the main bridge across the Wisconsin River at Wausau on Wednesday of last week. No one was near him when the accident occurred. Peter was notified and went to Wausau on Thursday, but after looking for the body a couple of days and not being able to find it, returned here. Mrs. Vansleet, who is quite an aged person, has been very ill for several weeks past and her recovery is now considered doubtful.
