COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 03/20/1902 Boinske, Michael
Jr. (16 Oct 1882 - 11 Mar 1902) Michael Boinske
Jr. was drowned while attempting to cross the south fork of the Eau
Claire River on the ice in the town of Reseburg, Clark Co., Wis. on
Tuesday of last week. Several other young men were with Boinske at
the time, but none of the others attempted to cross as the ice was
rotten and the river quite high. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Mike Boinske of the town of Reseburg and his age was 19 years, 4
months and 26 days. The remains were found late Saturday afternoon
last at a point about forty rods from where he disappeared under
the ice. The funeral occurred on Monday from St. Hedwig's Church,
Rev. Orlik officiating. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
