Haak, Mrs. Fred (10 Dec 1848 - 25? Apr 1902)
The funeral of Mrs. Fred Haak took place on Sunday afternoon last and was attended by a large concourse of people, Rev. J. B. Bachman conducted the services at the house, after which the remains were taken to the German Cemetery in the town of Worden, where Henry Schultz read a short burial service, and the remains were laid to rest beside her daughter, Alvina, who died several years ago. Mrs. Haak was born in Germany on Dec. 10, 1848, and came to New Holstein, this state, with her mother and brother, Fred Bock, her father dying quite suddenly while crossing the ocean on the trip to America. She leaves a daughter, Miss Bertha and son, William, both of mature age, and one brother, Mr. Fred Borck, of the town of Worden, who have the sincere sympathy of all in their bereavement, to mourn her untimely death.
