Lessard, Ida (Marriage - 7 OCT 1917)

Mrs. Ida Lessard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Henkel of this city (Colby, Wis.), and Mr. Alfred Phipps of Abbotsford, were married at 10 o'clock Wednesday forenoon, Oct. 7, 1917, at Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., by Judge O. W. Schoengarth. Mr. Phipps has been a fireman on passengers 5 and 6 between Abbotsford and Eau Claire for several years, but has taken a shorter run between Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire, so they will make their home in the latter city. The Phonograph and their many friends hereabouts will join in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.
