Gettman, Lynda J. (Marriage - Sep 1918)
The many friends of Walter C. Foster will be pleased to read the following item from one of our Milwaukee exchanges:
"John A. Gettman, 668 Thirty-third St., announces the marriage of his daughter, Lynda Juliane, to Lieut. Walter C. Foster, Tuesday morning at the chapel of St. John's Cathedral, the Rev. T. Myles officiating. The couple was attended by Miss Alberta McNaghton, bridesmaid, and J. P. Riley, best man. The wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. R. H. Pritzlaff."
Mr. and Mrs. Amos Foster of near Colby, parents of the groom, and a sister, Marguerite, attended the wedding.
Mr. Foster enlisted in the army Sept. 1917 and was stationed at Camp Custer for ten months and was then transferred to Camp Zackary, Taylor, Ky., where he was appointed Second Lieutenant on Aug. 31, 1918. At present he is stationed in the training school at Fort Sell, Okla. The Phonograph join the many friends in best wishes for their future happiness.
