Van Huizen, Albert (28 NOV 1844 - 26 Feb 1928)
Albert Van Huizen, father of Jerry Van Huizen, died at the home of his son her on Sunday evening of heart trouble. Mr. Van Huizen, for the past three years has made his home here (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) with his son, coming here from North Dakota. He was eighty-three years of age. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the home, Rev. Siggelkow officiating, and burial took place in Riverside Cemetery.

Albert Van Huizen passed away Sunday night at 10:45 at the home of his son, Jerry Van Huizen, at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 28 days. Death was cause from heart trouble. He leaves to mourn, one son, 3 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Van Huizen Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Siggelkow officiating. Burial took place at Riverside Cemetery.
Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. George De Bilt and children of Berthold, N.D.; Mr. and Mrs. J. De Bilt and daughter, Withee; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Nickel, Wausau; Mrs. J. McMahon, Portage; Mrs. J. Vander Bilt, Oxford, Wis.
