Trampush, Warren P. (27 SEP 1963 – 20 JUL 2019)

Warren P. Trampush, 55, Greenwood, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. After a 4 1/2-year battle with cancer, Warren was welcomed home into the arms of Jesus. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., on Wednesday July 31, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Aug. 1, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Loyal, with Rev. Leo Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the service.

Warren Patrick Trampush was born on Sept. 27, 1963, in Marshfield, to Henry A. and Mae A. (nee Bauer) Trampush. He was raised on the family farm near Loyal and received his education at St. Anthony Catholic School and graduated from Loyal High School in 1981. After graduating from high school, Warren continued to farm on his father’s family farm in Greenwood, which he purchased in 2001. He married Carolyn K. Schlief on Sept. 8, 1990, at First Baptist Church in Hudson, and continued to farm until shortly before his death. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Warren was passionate about his family and farming. He loved children, animals and visiting with his friends and neighbors. He will always be remembered for his warm smile and quirky sense of humor.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Carolyn, of Greenwood; one son, Dane, age 27, of Mesa, Ariz.; and one daughter, Lainy, age 13, at home. He will also be greatly missed by his sisters: Kathy (Ray) Mancl of Luxemburg, Karen (Mark) Jensen of DeForest, and Cindy (Scott) Senior of Gross Pointe Park, Mich.; and a brother, Bruce (Diane) Trampush of Marshfield.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Mara, at age 24 on Aug. 28, 2013; and a younger brother in infancy.
