Koschak, Louis (8 OCT 1874 - 5 JUL 1943)
Louis Koschak, 68, who had been ill the past several months, died at 6:30 o’clock Monday evening at his home, 6 ½ miles west of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). He had undergone an operation at Rochester, Minn., April 8, 1943.
Mr. Koschak was born in Yugoslavia, Oct. 8, 1874, and came to the Town of Hendren from Ely, Minn., in 1908.
Surviving are his wife and five sons, Louis Koschak, Waukegan, Ill.; I.A. Koschak, Thorp; Stanley Koschak of the U.S. army stationed somewhere in the South Pacific; Ludwig Koschak of the U.S. Navy, now in Oakland, Calif.; and Frank Koschak at home; five daughters, Mrs. Charles (Jennie) Artac, Greenwood; Mrs. Charles (Christine) Helensky, Waukegan, Ill.; Mrs. John (Mary) Lesar, Willard; Mrs. Tony (Angeline) Anutel, Waukegan, Ill.; and Mrs. Henry (Anna) Lamovec, Greenwood; and 17 grandchildren.
