Tuesday morning Miss
Beatrice Free and Willard E. Waters were united in marriage by Rev. Hendren. The
ceremony took place at the home of Rev. Hendren at Greenwood and was witnessed
only by relatives of the contracting parties. At the conclusion of the ceremony
the bride and groom left for a brief wedding trip and will then take up
housekeeping in the home the groom recently built at Humbird.
The bride
is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Free of this city and is one of Neillsville’s
most highly esteemed young ladies. She is a graduate of the Neillsville high
school and taught in the north side school for one year and for seven years
taught in the Humbird schools. She is a lady of most estimable qualities and
pleasing manner and has all the necessary qualifications to preside over a happy
home. Mr. Waters is a young man of high integrity and sterling qualities and is
well known here. He is secretary of the Humbird Life Insurance Co. and one of
the younger class of business men who are working hard for the development of
the county. The friends of the young people here and at Humbird extend their
very sincere congratulations.
Mr. and Mrs. Free went to Greenwood Tuesday
to be present at the wedding.
