Dr. Henry Christofferson took Mrs. Gust Haslow, the lady who has been undergoing
the skin-grafting ordeal here, to Rochester, Minnesota, Monday, and had a
personal interview with Dr. Charles Mayo, of the great surgical firm of Mayo
Brothers, in regard to her case. Dr. Mayo informed him that he was treating a
case exactly as he did, that he had also had cases were the skin from others
would not grow on the patient, and that in such cases he had resorted to
grafting from the patient’s own body with good results. Henry left Mrs. Haslow
there for treatment and returned home on Wednesday (Colby Phonograph)
