Bernard Wolf (9 Jan 1857 - 18
Oct 1933)
Bernard Wolf, for 50 years a resident of Dorchester County and
this village, died Wednesday morning at 10:30 at his home in the village
(Dorchester, Clark Co., WI). He had been ill more than two years with hardening
of the arteries and a paralytic stroke Sunday resulted in his death Wednesday.
The funeral services will be held Saturday (21 Oct 1933) afternoon, from the
home at 1:30 p. m. and the Evangelical Peace church, of which he was a charter
member, at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. J. R. Kalwitz officiating with interment at the
Evangelical Peace church cemetery north of the village.

obituary will be published next week.
*Selma Bertha Vetterline who was born July 18, 1861, in Ruhsdorf-Sachsen, Germany, and on Jan. 9, 1882, married Bernard Wolf. The young couple immigrated to the United States the same year, and settled first at Beaver Dam, then moving to a farm in the Town of Mayville in 1883, where she resided until moving to Dorchester in 1927.
