Fitzmaurice, Mike (Medal of Honor -1973)
A ceremony awarding Medal of Honor to eight of our American soldiers was held in
Washington, D.C. Monday. One of these boys was Mike Fitzmaurice of South Dakota,
grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Fitzmaurice. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick
Fitzmaurice, and their family from South Dakota, were flown to Washington so
that they could be present for the impressive ceremony.
