Kaiser, Kathleen M. "Kathy" (22 APR 1956 – 19 MAY 2015)
Kathleen M. “Kathy” Kaiser, 59, Spencer, passed away quietly and peacefully with
family at her bedside early Tuesday morning, May 19, 2015, at House of The Dove
in Marshfield. Services were held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 23, at Trinity
Lutheran Church in Spencer. Rev. David M. DePaoli officiated. A private committal
ceremony will take place at a later date. The honor of pallbearer belonged to
Peggy Brandt, Janet Aschebrook, Sue Bresemann and Jen Griepentrog.
Kathy Hein was born on April 22, 1956, in Neillsville, to Laverne and Anita (nee
Greening) Hein. She attended and graduated from Spencer High School. On Feb.
21,1976, she married Kevin Joseph Kaiser at Saint John the Baptist Catholic
Church in Marshfield. Kathy worked at McDonalds, Figi’s and K-Mart, all in Marshfield,
and also operated an in-home child daycare. On Jan. 29, 1990, Kathy began her
employment at Fleet Farm in Marshfield and had just recently celebrated her
25-year anniversary there. Her hobbies included ATV riding, camping, doing craft
work and reading. She loved watching both NASCAR and local car races but had a
special affection for NASCAR’s Bobby Labonte. Kathy enjoyed spending time with
and spoiling her grandkids. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church-Spencer
and the Mid-Wisconsin ATV Trailblazers Club of Marathon County.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Kaiser, Spencer; two children, Josh Kaiser,
Mosinee, and Danielle (Keith) Schmidt, Spencer; three grandsons, Devyn, Qwyntyn
and Adryan; and other relatives, many friends and co-workers. Kathy was preceded
in death by her father, Laverne; a brother, Dennis; three sisters, Linda Kilty,
Karen Jensen and Jean Marten; a nephew, Troy Volgmann; and a brother-in-law,
Gary Kilty.
The family extends a special “thank you” to all the physicians, nurses and staff
at Marshfield Clinic, Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital and House of The Dove. If
desired, memorials in Kathy’s memory are being accepted to House of The
Dove-Marshfield.
