Miss Ruth Fetting has been selected as the recipient of the D.A.R. Award by the faculty of Greenwood Community High School. Ruth, a senior, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fetting of rural Greenwood.

During her attendance at Greenwood High School, Ruth has demonstrated academic excellence and ranks in the upper ten percent of her class, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Miss Fetting has been active in the music organizations of the school, including chorus, pep band, orchestra and concert band. She has held offices in the Future Teachers Association, Girls Athletic Association and Spanish Club. Ruth is a member of the Thespian Society and active in the school newspaper and school year book.
