Mr. Fisher is the new owner of the only Variety Store in Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.). He is 34 years old and was born in Antigo, Wisconsin, where he attended
grade school and high school.
In 1949, he married the former Lorna Redetzke of Stratford. They now have 3
children, Bob, 13 years, Barbara, 11 years, and Steven, 9 years.
He has had a wife experience in store management and the like. In 1948 he worked
for McCrory and McLellan Stores Company. He was manager of store in Michigan,
Indiana, and now in Wisconsin. After leaving his job at McCrory and McLellan in
1960, he began working for F.W. Woolworth Co., where he managed stores in Lake
Forest as he last assignment.
The Fishers are members of the United Church of Christ, Immanuel. I am sure they
will be active members of our community.
Their last place of residence was Des Plaines, Ill, and they moved to Greenwood
this year.
Like most men, Nyles enjoys hunting and fishing.
He is a very considerate person and enjoys people in general. I know that he is
always very helpful when I find a need to go into his store, and I am sure that
he is the same with all of his customers, not only for business sake, but merely
to be kind to his fellow man!
