This year's student to represent Thorp High School at Bader Girls State is Nancy Kowleski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kowleski of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). Nancy has been elected by a group of teachers for her outstanding qualities of leadership, citizenship and character.

She will spend one week on the University of Wisconsin campus at Madison, Wisconsin. Throughout the week the girls will organize communities and elect officers; they will have a chance to hear many speakers on city, county and state offices. Everything they do during the week of activity in Madison is designed to prepare them to undertake the future responsibilities of citizens.
