Miss Barbara A. Budzinski, 714 1/2 Werle Ave., Wausau, and Roger F. Stroming,
Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were married in a 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday, April 4,
1970 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Thorp.
The Rev. Robert Olson officiated at the ceremony. Mrs. William Boardman was the
organist and Miss Candy Horn was the soloist.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Rosemarie Budzinski, Medford, and Henry E.
Budzinski, Thorp, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stroming,
Thorp.
Miss Nancy Meyer, Eau Claire, was maid of honor and Mrs. David Hibbard,
Schofield, the brides matron. Stephen Budzinski, Medford, served as best man and
Mr. Hibbard as groomsman. Ushering were Henry R. Budzinski, Withee and Raymond
Stroming, Tomahawk.
The bride selected an empire sheath gown of peau de soie and Venice lace with
train. Her veil was held by a bow with pearls, and she carried a cascade bouquet
of red roses and stephanotis.
The attendants wore empire line skimmer gowns of blue saki and white lace, and
petaled headpieces holding veils. Each had a bouquet of blue and white daisies.
The reception, dinner and dance were held at the American Legion Hall here.
After a wedding trip to South Dakota, the couple will live on route 2, Marathon.
Both are graduates of Thorp High School. The bride is employed by Employer's
Insurance, and the bridegroom works for Gamble-Robinson, Wausau.
