Klabon, Herman (15 DEC 1885 – 17 APR 1972)
Herman Klabon, 86, of route 2, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 3 p.m. Monday,
April 17, 1972 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient
since the 12th of March.
Services will be held today at 1:30 o'clock from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral
Home, with Ed Baum, Bible student, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside
Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Julius, Henry, Albert, Emil, Edmond, and Rineholt
Rohland.
Mr. Klabon was born December 15, 1885, in Poland, and came to the United States
in 1910. He was married in February 1916, in Chicago, to Anna Witkowski, who
preceded him in death on December 3, 1960.
The couple came to the town of Hixon (Clark Co.) in 1919 and farmed there until
retiring in 1957. He had since made his home there.
Survivors include three sons, Rineholt, River Forest, Illinois; Ossie, Stevens
Point;
