Riemer, Ernst A. (26 NOV 1901 – 23 JUN 1969)

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, June 26, 1969 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin for Ernst Albert Riemer, a former resident of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.). After services at the church, of which he was a charter member, burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Riemer died suddenly June 23, 1969 at the age of 67.

He was born in Greenville, Wisconsin November 26, 1901 and lived on a farm west of Colby, where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Riemer farmed for 24 years. He married Edna Bauman November 30, 1925.

Survivors include his wife; two children, Ruth Vergenz and Evelyn Schwei; three brothers, John, Louis and Leonard of Watertown, and a sister, Nelda Stefan of Hartford. He is also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Sade Kennow, and Meta; one brother, Arnold, and a baby granddaughter.
