Cathy married her love, Don Warner on Aug. 12, 1989. After moving to Rib Lake, she began working for Ed’s IGA and filled a multitude of positions over the years there. Over the years, Cathy welcomed family and new friends into her home. Cathy encouraged other to pursue their goals and always offered a listening ear. She supported Don in many ways and enjoyed cooking for and visiting with children and people who would come to Don’s train shows. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them.

Cathy enjoyed her hobbies of going to the casino, baking Christmas cookies and crocheting. She often made blankets for family members and sent friends home with baked goods. She was a generous and dedicated individual to her community and who was passionate about making a difference. She was an active and dedicated member of the Rib Lake United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 274 and bowling team in Rib Lake and often volunteered at many functions and provided baked goods when needed.
