The Town of Loyal provided the constable for the village until 1893. C. Ratelle
was one
of the early village marshals.
Ralph Clemetson served the task faithfully until he was in his 80's. Elmer
Neuman was also on the force for 25 years when he retired in 1955.
A number of others have served through the past fifteen years and Vernon Marten
is the present Chief of Police of the City of Loyal.
