Bohnhoff, Wilson W. (6 October 1914 – 22 January 1992)
Wilson W. Bohnhoff, 77, rural Neillsville, died at 7:55 p.m. Wednesday, January
22, 1992, at Memorial Medical Center, Neillsville.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 25, at the Gesche Funeral Home,
Neillsville, with he Rev. Thomas LaChapelle officiating. Iris Musil was the
organist. Burial was made in the Columbia Cemetery, in the Town of Hewett.
Friends and family served as pallbearers.
Wilson Bohnhoff was born October 6, 1914, in the Town of Hewett, to Fred and
Viola (Barnes) Bohnhoff. He attended Columbia area school. He married Estelle (Klepek)
Wojtowicz, August 20, 1955, in Alma Center.
He farmed all his life in the Town of Hewett. He was also town assessor for the
Town of Hewett and served on the Town board for many years. He pitched for many
years for the Town of Hewett baseball team.
He is survived by his wife; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Larry (Geraldine) Gollubske
of Marathon; one step-grandchild; and two step-great-grandchildren. He was
predeceased by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
