Double Anniversary-Henchen/Tresemer (Silver - 1982)
Relatives and friends gathered Saturday evening for a celebration honoring the
25th wedding anniversaries of Eddie and Nancy Tresemer and Louis and Barbara
Henchen. A dinner was served at 6:45 at the Wildcat Inn followed by a party in
the Masonic Temple’s dining room.
A mock double wedding ceremony was performed. This was followed by the serving
of anniversary cake, coffee and punch. The honored couples received many
beautiful cards and gifts.
Attending from out-of-town were Mr./Mrs. Robert Zager & family and Mary Nathe,
all of Sauk Rapids, Mn.; Mike Popp, St. Cloud, Mn.; Mr./Mrs. Bill Kent & family,
Winona, Mn.; David Henchen, Marseilles, Il.; Eileen Henchen, Des Moines, Ia.;
and Mr./ Mrs. David Sinner, Sussex.
Joining them were Mr./Mrs. LeRoy Krall, West Salem; Tom Henchen, La Crosse;
Cheryl and Sue Henchen of Eau Claire; Mr./Mrs. Tom Firnstahl, Abbotsford;
Mr./Mrs. John Gates, Black River Falls; Mr./Mrs. Danny Buchholz and family,
Greenwood.
Coming from Neillsville were Fern Holt, Imogene Henchen, Ed Henchen, Mr./Mrs.
Jerry Johnson & Steve, Nr./Mrs. Everett Skroch, Mr./Mrs. Gilbert Staffen & Don,
Ellen Johnson, Mildred Dorn, Mr./Mrs. David Lewis & Pam, Tim Tresemer, Gayle
Stumpner and Mrs. Leo Gross.
On Sunday, many of the group gathered at the Listeman Park to celebrate the
graduation of Juli Zager of Sauk Rapids, Mn. Juli graduated from Sauk Rapids
High School on May 27. She had a graduation cake and received cards and money
gifts.
