Jeanne Writz and Bill Devereau were the prize winners of the Abbotsford students
who participated in the walkathon. Linda Laird, Abbotsford FBLA advisor,
congratulated the two students. Miss Writz won a sleeping bag in a general
drawing of the students who participated in the walkathon, and Devereau received
a multi-band radio for collected the most money. He received $69 from local
sponsors.
