STONE GRAVE AT DEAM LAKE
Carr Township, Clark County, Indiana

There is reportedly a single 19th Century burial somewhere on the property of Deam Lake State Recreation Area in Carr Township.  The individual buried there, a gentleman named "Stone", was a recluse who was found dead near his home, presumably as a result of an encounter with a rattlesnake.

In August 1999, the property manager at Deam Lake advised that he has yet to pinpoint the exact burial site, but he is reasonably sure of its general location.

No further information available at this time.
