THE NEBRASKA AND MIDWEST

THE EDITOR'S CORNER.

We acknowledge receipt of the first three issues of THE DELAWARE HISTORICAL AND GENEALOGICAL RECALL, which began publication February 1933, at Wilmington, Delaware. Each number contains 8 pages filled with abstracts from original records. Titles have included Marriage References, Wills, Depositions, Migrations, History, Deeds and Orphans Court. The August issue contains Bible Records of the Vandergrift, Ball and Pearson families. This magazine will prove to be a valuable reference work in genealogical and historical libraries.

During 1934 it is planned to greatly curtail or temporarily discontinue the publication of compiled genealogies in the Nebraska and Midwest Genealogical Record, and in their place we expect to give more attention to Bible records. The number of family records coming into the hands of the Nebraska Genealogical Society is increasing rapidly and it is our desire to publish them as soon as possible to insure their being preserved permanently. Often such records are the only means of "bridging the gap" in establishing a family line.
