HENRY ROHWER.


   HENRY ROHWER, Republican representative from Washington county, the eleventh district, was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, emigrating to Nebraska in September, 1868. His present address is Ft. Calhoun, Washington county, when he is engaged in farming. Mr. Rohwer was township clerk for two terms and member of the county board for six years, before being elected to this, the twenty-seventh session of the Nebraska Legislature.

A. L. SANDALL.


   A. L. SANDALL, the Republican member of the lower house, from York county, the thirty-eighth district, was born in Sweden, November 17, 1848, and came from that country to Iowa, locating in Nebraska a few years later. His present address is York, York county, is engaged in farming and stock-raising, married, and has a family of twelve children. Mr. Sandall served as a member of the twenty-sixth session of the Nebraska Legislature from the thirty-eighth representative district, and by close attention to his duties made a splendid record as a legislator.

HENRY SCHINSTOCK.


   HENRY SCHINSTOCK, Democratic representative from the fifteenth district, Cuming county, was born at Fort Madison, Iowa, January 7, 1863, and came from that state to Nebraska in the year 1884. Was married in November of the year 1886, to Katie Batemhorst; resides in West Point, where he is engaged in the grain and stock business. Mr. Shinstock is not a politician, having never before held any public office.

ANDREW SCOTT.


   ANDREW SCOTT, one of the two Republican members of the lower house from the second district, Pawnee county, was born in Scotland in the year 1842 and came to America in September, 1858, settling in Nebraska. He married Julia Burg in the year 1870, and their family consists of three boys and two girls. He is a farmer, and present address is Pawnee City.

E. J. SHELLHORN.


   E. J. SHELLHORN, member of the lower house from the thirtieth representative district, Lancaster county, it is needless to say, is a Republican. He was born February 12, 1837, in Knox county, Ohio, removed to Missouri in 1850 and to Nebraska in 1854, and has lived in Lancaster county since 1893. He is married and has a family of three girls; is a merchant by occupation. Mr. Shellhorn is not a politician, but has served as county commissioner and county treasurer. He has lived in the states of Washington, Idaho, and Florida, but never voted outside of the state of Nebraska.

LOUIS SMITHBERGER.


   LOUIS SMITHBERGER, Republican, from the seventeenth representative district, comprising Wayne and Stanton counties, was born in Iowa, August 20, 1859, and came to Nebraska from that state in the year 1869. He was married to Minnie Zahn, February 14, 1888. Resides in Stanton and is engaged in the stock business. Served eight years as county clerk of Stanton county, and is now serving his second consecutive term in the Legislature. Mr. Smithberger was educated in the Stanton public schools and spent one year in the Iowa City Commercial College. He is popular with the people, and his re-election to the Legislature marks him a leader in that section of the state.
