REVOLUTIONARY WAR PENSION

 

JOHN WINSOR

        John Winsor enlisted in Claverack, NY in early 1779, and served as a private in Captains John H. Wendell's and John Ten Broeck's CO., Colonel Goose Van Schaick's First New York Regiment, who was at the siege of Yorktown and John Winsor was discharged in the summer of 1783.

     John was living in Hillsdale when he married Lydia Boardman also of Hillsdale on 12 July 1792.  John died in Brunswick, Rensselaer county, New York on 14 Jan 1831.
