There is a brief summary of the Reasoner, Westland Twp. Cemetery. It states as follows:

"REASONER, WESTLAND TWP. : Not one stone can be identified here because an old hickory tree has uprooted & buried the remains of the stones. This is one of the oldest in the county, perhaps, because the Reasoner family came to this area in about 1803. It is believed they acquired land under the James Madison administration. Harry Reasoner, of Cambridge R. D. 6, claims his grandparents, original pioneers, along with other relatives, are buried here. Another historical mark has passed into oblivion."
