Bilyeu Den Cemetery

 Index to Bilyeu Den Cemetery

Our Lady of Lourdes is located right behind the Catholic Church in Jordan. There are 3 cemeteries on that ridge. Bilyeu Den, Lady of Lourdes,...and then the one on up the mountain. These are all accessed on Camp Morrison Drive. It doesn't have a name...the gate says "Pioneer Cemetery 1885". Everyone says it is located on the old Bender property where the original Catholic church was before it burned down. A new one was built at the present location. It is still being used (new burials there).

Bilyeu Den is located just off Camp Morrison Drive and west of the Jordan Catholic Church. It is well maintained and a beautiful view. The cemetery association has erected a map showing graves/and or owners for reference, but does not include dates. The cemetery was established in 1866 and is located in Township 10S, Range 1E, Sections 9-10.
