Douglas Kenneth Ross, Sr.  says:  "She was the mother of Hallan Marsh.
They may have been related to the DeLanes or Frenches or Cannons.

Hallan Marsh's wife was Correen.  Hallan and Correen Marsh were about
Marian DeLane's age.  Hallan graduated from Cal Tech.  I
remember visiting with Hallan and his parents, going sailing with him.
Hallan later took up flying.
