May 23, 1882 - December 9, 1904

Born in Calumet County, Edna Lucena (nee Dean) Lawrence was a daughter of Walter Dean.  The 1900 Federal Census for Clark County shows an Edna Dean living in York Township as the daughter of Walter Dean.  Edna L. (nee Dean) Lawrence was the wife of William E. Lawrence, the oldest son of Horace and Edna (nee Smithers) Lawrence, who were both pioneers of York Township.  Her children were Naomi Davis and Claude Lawrence.  Claude died as a child and is also buried in York Center Cemetery.
