Stella Mortimer
January 26, 1852 - June 14, 1933
Estelle "Stella" (nee Pettit) Mortimer was the wife of William
Mortimer. They came to York Township from Calumet County in 1876 and
lived on a farm in Section 22 on Tree Road.
Their children were Jesse Mortimer (Helen Lawrence/Sisson’s father),
Ray Mortimer, Grace Rowe, and George
Mortimer.
Jesse, Grace, Ray, and George are also buried in York Center Cemetery.
