Etta Gardner

1878 -1920

Etta (nee Winn) Gardner was a daughter of Simeon and Martha Winn, pioneers of York Township. The 1880 Federal Census for Clark County shows an Etta as the 2-year-old daughter of S. and Martha Winn.  Etta was also a sister to Jennie Winn whose first husband was Edward Graves and whose second husband was Bert Hayden.  Etta Winn married Arthur Gardner on June 8, 1898 at her parent's home.  The 1905 Census for Clark County shows an Etta Gardner (27) living in York Township with her husband "Pete" Gardner (29).
