Simeon Winn

April 24, 1831 - February 28, 1906

Simeon Winn was a pioneer of York Township who came to Clark County from Fond du Lac County.  Per the 1880 and 1893 plat maps, a S. Winn owned land in Section 26.  In addition, the 1880 Federal Census for Clark County shows an S. Winn (46) living in York Township with his wife, Martha (25) and a 2-year-old daughter, Etta and 8-month-old son, Guy.  Etta (who married Pete Gardner) and another of Simeon Winn’s daughters, Jennifer Graves/Hayden are also buried in York Center Cemetery.
