Irvin Lawrence
March 18, 1858 - February 25, 1882
Irvin Lawrence was the youngest son of Jesse and Almeda (nee Benedict) Lawrence. They were early pioneers of York Township. Likewise, he was a younger brother to Horace A. Lawrence, Sarah (nee Lawrence) Lindsley, and Zelina (nee Lawrence) Rowe. As the result of his mother being a Benedict, he was also a first cousin to Adonijah Benedict. He died as a young man of spinal meningitis.[i]
