Dale Foreman Dies In Norfolk Hospital

Creighton folks and the immediate vicinity were deeply grieved to learn of the sudden death of Dale Marcelous Foreman, which occurred at the General Hospital in Norfolk on Friday evening at 6 o’clock. He was operated on in the morning for the removal of tonsils, and hemorrhages brought on his death.

Dale the only son of Mr. And Mrs. Marcelous Foreman, was a shining light in the home, and his place will be hard to fill. He was dearly loved by his playmates and his passing is mourned by a large number of friends, who were privileged to know him.

Dale Marcelous Foreman was born on October 16, 1921 at Orchard, Nebr., and died at Norfolk on August 31, 1928, at the age of 6 years, 10 months and 16 days.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Eleanor Bernice and Evelyn Aileen, and a score of other relatives.

Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Enterprise school house, west of Creighton, conducted by Rev. Littrell, pastor of the U. B. Church of Creighton and the remains wee laid to rest in the Enterprise cemetery. A huge crowd gathered to pay their final respects to the deceased. Many beautiful floral pieces bore evidence of the esteem he was held in by relatives and friends.

The News joins with friends in extending expressions of sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
