Arnold Edwin Risinger Obituary

Contributed by Karen Barnett

Arnold Edwin Risinger

Arnold Edwin Risinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Risinger, was born on February 2nd, 1911, in Knox County, near Venus, Nebraska, and died at his home February 23rd, 1932.

Arnold graduated from the public school May, 1928, since then he has remained at home helping his parents on the farm. He was a kind sympathetic young man and to know him was to be his friend. His soul has returned to the God who gave it. He now enjoys the rewards promised in the twenty-third Psalm.

Left to mourn his departure are his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Reed Risinger, five brothers, five sisters, all at home also many other relatives and friends.

Good-bye Arnold, soon we will all meet you on the Mt. of Transfiguration.

Funeral services were held from the Venus Methodist church Thursday afternoon at one o’clock, February 25th, 1932 conducted by Rev. Samuel McKeown, of Osmond, Nebraska. Burial was made in the Enterprise Cemetery.
