W. F. Keeling died Sunday afternoon of dropsey. Proceeded in death by wife Mrs. Allender and two children.

LOCKERT, Col. J. W.
Todd County Progress, Trenton, Ky., Saturday Aug 16, 1912
Col. J. W. Lockert a highly respected citizen of Guthrie, died at his summer home at Hermon, Tuesday, aged 85, and was buried there Wednesday at noon  with masonic honors.  A most estimable citizen and brother was Col. Lockert.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde PAYNE have the sympathy of the community  in the loss of their baby boy on Sunday last.

SHEMWELL, Permelia Belinda (RICKMAN)
Age 88, of Elkton died 30 Sep 1910.
Funeral services were held , officiating was . Burial at Mt Sharon.
Born 12 Sep 1822 Sumner Tennessee. Moved as a girl to Todd county Kentucky joined the M.E. church south while young Married Samuel Shemwell 17 Aug 1841 in Todd Kentucky. Had 3 children. James M. Shemwell of Elkton Kentucky, William A. Shemwell of Colorado, and Bettie J. Sherrod (Finis Washington Sherrod) of Mt Sharon. After Samuel died Permelia married Burrell Meador 14 Aug 1883. He died several years earlier. The last 8 years of her life she only left her room one time due to being crippled. Her death relived her of her suffering.
