TEKAMAH

 To the Readers.

THIS little book has been issued by us without any idea of profit, but solely to perpetuate the memory of many of those who have aided in making the county one of the best in the state. When entered upon the magnitude of the undertaking was not anticipated. The work of getting together photos, securing engravings, data for biographies and printing has extended over several years. Since the first pages were printed, in 1903, several, whose biographies were then put in print, have passed on to their reward. With the passing over of many of the old settlers we feel, that as the years roll by, this little book will become more and more valuable to its possessors. We have done what we could to give to you as correct and concise a history of the leading men of this locality, together with a likeness of each, and leave it to you to say, by the manner in which you receive it, how well we have done. Thanking each of you who have aided us, we remain,

Yours respectfully,
OTT BROTHERS          .
