Horace H. Lawrence

March 17, 1889 - September 2, 1963

wpe11.gif (8085 bytes)Horace H. Lawrence was the youngest son of Horace and Edna (nee Smithers) Lawrence, pioneers of York Township. He was a sibling to other people buried in the York Center Cemetery, including: Lois Vandeberg, Orin Lawrence, Roy Lawrence, Floy Huntley, Earl Lawrence, Olive Campbell and Carrie Lawrence.  In addition, he was a half-sibling to Ida Turner, Burton Lawrence, Lillian Vandeberg, and Melvin Lawrence, who are also buried in York Center Cemetery. Another half-sibling of Horace's was George Lawrence, who is interred at Tacoma, Washington.  He was married to the former Lucy Free (an older sister to Herb Free) and the father of Gilbert Lawrence (Helen Lawrence/ Sisson’s first husband) and Byrl Lawrence.
