Orin Lawrence

August 29, 1880 - May 23, 1969

Orin Lawrence was a son of Horace A. and Edna (nee Smithers) Lawrence, pioneers of York Township. He was a sibling to other people buried in the York Center Cemetery, including: Lois Vandeberg, Roy Lawrence, Floy Huntley, Earl Lawrence, Olive Campbell, Carrie Lawrence and Horace H. Lawrence.  In addition, he was a half-sibling to Ida Turner, Burton Lawrence, Lillian Vandeberg, and Melvin Lawrence, who are also buried in York Center Cemetery. Another half-sibling of Orin's was George Lawrence, who is interred at Tacoma, Washington.  Orin Lawrence married the former Nettie Downey.  Their children include Ina (nee Lawrence) Williams, whose son, Clarence Oberman is buried in York Center Cemetery and Fannie (nee Lawrence) Jakobi, whose husband, Walter Jakobi is also buried in York Center Cemetery.
